Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS)

IFS therapy is a non-pathologizing, deep and respectful model of therapy which explores how various parts of our personality can cause conflict in our lives. IFS considers the relationship of a person’s wise and compassionate self to their parts or sub personalities and how their connection to their compassionate nature can restore harmony to their internal system.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP)

SP is a body-centered talk therapy that fosters curiosity and self-awareness through mindful exploration of present moment experience practiced in collaboration with the therapist. SP aids clients to tap into the wisdom of their body to support one’s natural drive towards healing and integration.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR therapy is an effective tool for processing stuck traumatic memories or negative beliefs that cause distress in one’s life. Through EMDR therapy a person learns what part of the experience is useful and what to discard. EMDR is effective for reducing long lasting effects of trauma and attachment disorders.

Mindfulness

In mindfulness practice, we focus on the present moment experience with curious, meditative, non-judgmental awareness to gain insight, regulate emotions, and reduce stress.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on changing maladaptive thoughts and behaviors as well as understanding how these behaviors and thoughts effect one’s experience.

Positive Psychology

Positive psychology is the scientific study of human strengths and positive aspects of human functioning, such as happiness and gratitude.  Positive psychology informs my work as both a coach and therapist.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

KAP is a therapeutic approach that combines the medicine ketamine with supportive and integrative psychotherapy. When used in a therapeutic dosage range, ketamine induces a dream-like state of expanded consciousness where one can explore challenges from a new perspective. Ketamine can interrupt negative thought patterns, open up new ideas and possibilities and enhance therapeutic processing and growth. Ketamine is an experimental and experiential treatment with growing evidence on the benefits for people with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, pain, anxiety, existential distress, and problematic substance use.
