We start by establishing a foundation where you feel safe, accepted, and understood. Then, collaboratively and with gentle curiosity, we explore what you want to change.

If you’re interested, I may combine talk therapy with innovative models like Internal Family Systems Therapy, EMDR, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to address the full range of your experience including thoughts, emotions, body sensations, beliefs and spirituality. The tools I choose are tailored to your unique needs, comfort level, and the present moment experience.

My intention is to be fully present for you and help you in ways you want for yourself. To do that, I

  • Listen skillfully—I listen with my intuition, eyes, ears, and heart to get a fuller understanding of your experience in each moment. We explore your present experience and its relationship with your past.
  • Stay sensitive to your pace—I may slow down to hold space for all aspects of your experience. Other times, if things are stuck, I may use tools to move processing along. Together we create the right pace for your situation.
  • Use various techniques—I’ll invite you to try different ways of working. In a session, you might:
    • talk or not talk
    • try out movements or gestures
    • practice directed mindfulness of emotions or body sensations
    • get to know your subpersonalites
    • use art materials or manipulate objects

I integrate the tools and techniques that are a good fit for you.

Most importantly, I am fully committed to your healing and growth.
